Trey Tate, BS, NASM-CPT

Brief bio: Fitness and being healthy has become a journey of mine. In high school, I took my first weight lifting class and was instantly hooked. I was scrawny and thought, "Hey! I have the power to change the way my body looks!" Over the years, I noticed something was missing in my routine. I was constantly getting injured and recognized that the mindset of getting big was hurting me.

I realized that living a healthy lifestyle was the best way to live, so I started to incorporate proper nutrition, meditation, yoga, functional movements, and aerobic activities. To me, health is so much more than your external body, and I am a firm believer in balancing the mind, body, and spirit. Everything in your body is connected as one singular unit.  If you are unbalanced in one aspect, it will manifest a symptom somewhere in your body.


Having overcome my own anxious behaviors, I incorporate techniques to help clients break free of negative thought patterns, build self confidence, and discover their inner happiness. I have always believed in Joseph Campbell's quote, "Follow your bliss," and I enjoy helping clients break free of current mindsets and accomplish what they thought was impossible.


Being a big proponent of functionality, I incorporate kettlebells, gymnastic rings, trail-running, and body weight exercises into all of my workouts. The world is a playhouse, and I am always trying to get creative with the environment to find fun and effective workouts. In recent years, I have unleashed my competitive side and now participate in 5k mud races, jiu jitsu, and judo.

“Give a man a fish, you have fed him today; Teach a man to fish, you have fed him for a lifetime.” I am not here just to work out my clients, but to educate them as well. I believe fitness should be fun, and I want to empower people with the health knowledge I have accumulated. With a passion for health, I can effectively transform your mind, body, and diet so that you can live life to the fullest and enjoy being in your skin. With hard work and consistency , we can accomplish your goals together!
